Aislinn enjoys helping businesses, charities and not-for-profits do what they do best by taking care of the legal details. As part of CLM’s Corporate and Commercial team, she specialises in business structures, capital raising, governance, privacy and corporate advisory matters. Her experience ranges from helping start-ups secure their first investment to supporting businesses raising millions of dollars. As she puts it, she may never run a business herself, but she loves helping hundreds of other businesses succeed.
Clients value Aislinn’s calm, organised approach. She takes the time to understand each client’s wider goals, recognising that the right advice isn’t always just the answer to the question they’ve asked. She never takes for granted the trust clients place in her and values the opportunity to help shape decisions that matter most to them.
Aislinn recently returned to Tauranga after 14 years in Christchurch to be closer to family following the birth of her son. She also speaks Spanish after spending time living in Mexico and never passes up the chance for a conversation en español.
Bread is something of a speciality. Aislinn regularly makes fresh loaves at home, with cinnamon brioche a particular favourite, and is renowned for bringing dozens of homemade hot cross buns into the office each Easter. Her husband insists the bread maker deserves most of the credit, but that’s never stopped him from polishing off a warm loaf.
