Erin helps clients tackle some of the trickiest conversations they’ll ever have – talking about death, finances and family dynamics. With her experience in trust law and estate planning, she works alongside our Private Client & Trust team to guide families through setting up and managing trusts, drafting wills and putting Enduring Power of Attorney arrangements in place. Her calm approach and attention to detail gives clients peace of mind that everything is in order, no matter how complicated the situation. She also has contract law expertise and helps businesses negotiate leases and other agreements.
Clients appreciate Erin’s friendly manner and the way she makes it easy to understand complex legal concepts. She helps families work through sensitive discussions while keeping things practical, empathetic and clear.
Known around our office for her thoroughness and willingness to help, Erin balances her professional life with being a busy mum of five – including four energetic, sports-mad boys. She jokes that anyone trying to break into her house would never get past the chaotic mountain of shoes and football gear piled at the front door. But Erin somehow stays unflappable, smiling, and always on top of everything both at work and at home.
Once or twice a year Erin loves to escape into the bush and go tramping with her family or girlfriends. She’s right at home in the great outdoors and is slowly ticking off all the NZ Great Walks. She also loves waterskiing and mountain biking, and is up for any adventure.
