Marouna has a wealth of experience in law firm administration and training, having spent over 15 years working across a variety of legal roles in both New Zealand and Australia. Since joining CLM in 2013, she has held positions ranging from Float Secretary to Legal Executive, giving her a deep understanding of both legal processes and how our firm operates.
Now working as CLM’s Training and Administration Executive, Marouna shepherds all new starters through a maze of logins, templates and policies so our staff feel confident and supported from day one. She helps people quickly get to grips with our internal systems (everything from file access to online resources) and makes sure no-one accidentally sends an email to the whole firm on their very first day.
Marouna also keeps everyone in the loop with updates, upgrades and any shiny new features, and supports CLM’s practice groups with tailored training when needed. Helping people do their jobs well is what she enjoys most. Colleagues describe Marouna as approachable, empathetic and supportive – the kind of person who makes learning a new system feel a lot less daunting.
Off duty, Marouna has called Waihi Beach home for nearly two decades and she loves the community’s laid-back vibe. She balances that seaside serenity with her regular commute into Tauranga city and loves getting into nature whenever she can – whether it’s mountain biking through Rotorua’s Redwoods or going for a brisk bushwalk on the weekend.
