Zoë specialises in estates and estate planning (including wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney), plus conveyancing for both residential and rural properties. She often meets clients at some of the most difficult points in their lives, helping them navigate the probate process while they are grieving. Empathetic yet efficient, she makes sure people understand what’s happening from a legal perspective and takes the time to offer genuine help and support.
Clients and colleagues value her honesty, dependability and friendly disposition. Whether drafting a complex will or managing a time-sensitive conveyance, she’s known for combining technical skill with clear communication and genuine compassion. CLM’s reception staff also love that Zoë always picks up her phone – so much so that she even won a Christmas party award for being so responsive!
Her career journey has been anything but straight lines. Banking, insurance, hospitality, PR, even a stint on superyachts – Zoë has done it all. After emigrating from the UK in 2012 she moved into real estate before discovering her passion for the law, and hasn’t looked back since. Her friends joke that she’s forever expanding her CV, and they’re not wrong. She’s now studying part-time for a law degree at Waikato University while working full-time and raising her young son.
At home Zoë is a keen cook, often taking up her son’s challenge to prepare dishes from around the world. While she can whip up everything from Japanese noodles to Greek feasts, her personal favourite is a perfectly cooked medium-rare scotch fillet.
