Amelise brings positivity, professionalism and a keen eye for detail to her role as Legal Assistant in our Property & Development team. Having relocated from Brisbane to Waihi Beach in late 2024, she supports her senior colleagues across the conveyancing process – from drafting documents and ordering LIM reports to checking titles, preparing settlement statements, and making sure clients have ticked off all their due diligence. Her goal? To ensure clients don’t encounter any nasty surprises that may be hidden beneath the surface of a property deal.
Curious by nature, Amelise sees every task as a learning opportunity and isn’t afraid to ask “why” so she can keep building her knowledge and find the best outcomes for clients. Around our office she’s known for her sunny personality, can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm to get involved – whether that’s helping our social club plan a mid-winter party or lending her energy to CLM’s Christmas committee.
Amelise is also a highly-skilled and passionate footballer who has played since the age of five. She previously competed in Queensland’s National Premier League and now lines up for the Tauranga Moana women’s side, training twice a week and travelling to Auckland regularly for weekend matches.
Moving to a different country is always a challenge but Amelise describes Waihi Beach as “heaven on earth”. She’s getting used to New Zealand’s one-lane highways and is no longer surprised to find herself stuck behind the occasional tractor on her daily commute.
