Whether she’s guiding clients through a tight property settlement or making split-second calls on a premier netball court, Ashleigh is known for keeping her cool under pressure.

She specialises in commercial and residential conveyancing, financing, and commercial leasing, and works closely with a nationwide new-home building group. From progress payments to bank deadlines, Ashleigh balances competing priorities with composure – ensuring clients feel supported and informed every step of the way.

Her path into law began unexpectedly. While studying psychology and history at Waikato University, Ashleigh helped a friend revise for law exams and was hooked. She switched to a conjoint degree and joined CLM as a Legal Assistant before progressing to Law Clerk, Solicitor and now Senior Solicitor. Her career has been built on curiosity, hard work, and a steady approach when the stakes are high.

Colleagues value her willingness to help with anything, from solving tricky client issues to jumping in when a deadline looms. She prides herself on guiding her clients through stressful transactions, providing an understanding ear, and turning complex legal processes into clear, manageable steps.

Outside the office, Ashleigh thrives in high-pressure roles of a different kind. She is a Zone-qualified netball umpire, officiating top-level Bay of Plenty games where precision and calm decision-making are key. She also takes weekly ballroom and Latin dance lessons, enjoying the elegance of the waltz and the high energy of the jive. She finds joy in the music, the challenge of competing, and the chance to leave everything else at the door.
