Gemma is CLM’s Reception Manager, the friendly face and calm presence that welcomes clients, staff and visitors alike. Since joining the firm in mid-2025, she has quickly become the anchor of our front desk, handling everything from incoming calls and appointments to parcel deliveries and meeting room bookings. In a firm of over 100 people, Gemma’s knack for remembering names and faces means she knows absolutely everyone – and is often the first port of call for a friendly hello or a quick solution to whatever unexpected challenge has cropped up.
Before joining CLM, Gemma spent 16 years in the real estate industry, including running a family-owned real estate firm as principal. She holds a National Diploma in Real Estate and completed her Legal Executive Diploma in 2023, reflecting her curiosity and commitment to professional growth. This blend of experience, organisation, and attention to detail makes her exceptionally capable of keeping our reception running smoothly, even on the busiest of days. Colleagues rely on her problem-solving skills, calm demeanour, and ability to keep everything on track – whether it’s a last-minute meeting room change or a coffee machine emergency.
Outside of work, Gemma enjoys family life on their Bay of Plenty lifestyle block. Weekends often involve baking treats for her children’s lunchboxes, pottering around the property, or heading to the beach for summer family adventures. Born in Hawke’s Bay, she appreciates the Bay of Plenty’s relaxed lifestyle while bringing her trademark friendliness, organisation, and professionalism to our firm.
