As our Office Assistant, Gemma ensures everyone feels welcome from the moment they walk through our door. She helps manage our front desk with calm efficiency, answering calls, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating daily office logistics.
She also provides general administrative support across our firm, helps organise catering for meetings and events, and maintains shared spaces to keep everything looking tidy and running smoothly. As an active member of our Wellness Club, Gemma helps us foster a positive and connected workplace.
Before joining CLM in November 2025, Gemma spent 10 years in retail management where she honed her people skills and discovered the power of a genuine smile and thoughtful service. Born in Auckland and raised in Tauranga, she’s proud to call the Bay home and enjoys contributing to our team environment while embracing a new professional challenge.
Colleagues describe Gemma as kind, approachable, and endlessly positive – someone who can brighten even the busiest day. She thrives on helping others, anticipating needs before they are voiced, and ensuring every interaction feels effortless and personal.
Away from the office, Gemma channels her creativity into a variety of crafts, from painting to sewing, gardening, candle-making, and nail art. She sees nail art as a kind of miniature painting – a small but expressive canvas where colour, texture, and design come to life. However she spends her time, Gemma’s care, creativity, and cheerful energy make her a valued member of our team.
