With three decades’ experience in the legal world, Kelly is the calm, organised presence that every law firm needs. Specialising in residential conveyancing, subdivisions and finance, she makes sure statements, bank documents and Landonline e-dealings are all prepared, accurate and on time. In short: Kelly keeps the wheels turning so settlements happen smoothly.
Her colleagues appreciate her no-nonsense style. Kelly believes legal advice should always be practical, not hidden behind jargon. She thinks through each step, explains what needs to be done, and gives our team actionable advice to get the right outcome. When things get busy, her trademark calm and meticulous organisation keep everything on track – there’s no stress, no panic, just well-prepared workflows and clear communication.
Kelly prides herself on her ability to adapt quickly, collaborate with others and read situations well. She always knows when to step in and help, and who just needs to be left to it. The most rewarding part of her job is the team camaraderie and knowing that her behind-the-scenes work makes a real difference.
Outside of CLM, Kelly puts her personal values and skills to good use in the community. She’s the accounts officer and administrator for The Broken Movement Trust, an Ōtautahi-based charity which helps people heal from trauma, addiction and other mental health issues. Closer to home, she knits beanies, scarves and socks for the homeless and school children in need. When she’s not helping others, you’ll find her reading a good book and enjoying a walk around Tauranga’s beautiful parks and beaches.
