With nearly 30 years’ experience as a legal assistant – and more than a decade working at CLM – Kristine is the steady hand behind the scenes in our Private Client & Trust team. She supports lawyers working on everything from property conveyancing to trusts, estates, and estate planning. Kristine prepares documents, manages property settlements and distributions, and often takes the first phone call from clients. She listens carefully, gathers the right information, and makes sure clients are connected with the right person so they have a good first impression of our firm and excellent service from the outset.
Kristine’s calm, organised style keeps the wheels turning smoothly, even when transactions involve large sums of money, tight deadlines, and high expectations. A true team player, she’s the reliable backbone of our team who keeps things moving, steps up when colleagues are away, and helps the whole team deliver on our promises. Around the office, she’s known for her wisdom, positivity and her genuine care for colleagues and their families.
Originally from Whakatāne, Kristine values the simple things: time with family, pottering in her garden, and walks on the beach or along Tauranga’s many tracks. She’s “Nana” to her young grandson, pet-mum to several cats, and a frequent dog-sitter for her daughter. While she prefers to keep a low profile, Kristine’s long experience, reliability, and supportive nature make her an indispensable part of CLM – proof that workplace heroes are found in all corners of our office.
