He assists councils and private clients with issues ranging from air and water discharges to major infrastructure projects and residential developments, and represents clients in litigation and appeals when disputes arise.
His practice also includes Māori land law, Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act applications, Local Government Act powers, and Public Works Act matters. Te Hau regularly advises on civil disputes, including liquidation and debt recovery.
