Jaida is a Legal Assistant in our Property & Development team, helping to keep complex property settlements on track. She prepares authority and instruction forms, land transfer tax statements, and sets up e-dealings on LINZ (Land Information New Zealand) while working closely with some of our senior legal executives. She is also involved in settlements for a nationwide home-building group – gaining hands-on experience that complements her ongoing studies in law.
Since joining CLM in October 2025, Jaida has impressed colleagues with her organisation, adaptability and willingness to step up and learn. She approaches every task with a “how can I help?” attitude, making her approachable and dependable in a busy office environment. Even as a new member of our team, she is known for her positive energy, friendliness, and calm professionalism that puts those around her at ease.
Balancing work, study and family life, Jaida is completing her Bachelor of Laws through Waikato University in the evenings and on weekends, and is on track to graduate in 2026. She draws strength from her support network and is motivated to be a good role model for her young daughter.
Jaida loves spending time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors – whether at the beach, lake or in the bush. She has grown up visiting Lake Rotoehu, a place she treasures for its natural beauty and special family memories. She also enjoys eclectic music gigs, from rock and metal bands to tech-house DJs, embracing life with the same curiosity, energy and determination she brings to her career.
