With a professional background encompassing a decade-long tenure as a professional musician and music educator, and a 24-year career in Information Technology, I bring a wealth of diverse expertise to my role at Cooney Lees Morgan.

I’ve held some wide-ranging roles throughout my career including administering the gaming infrastructure for the TAB, dedicating twelve years to an Intellectual Property law firm, and most recently serving as the IT Manager for the largest engineering company in the Bay of Plenty.

Joining Cooney Lees Morgan in February 2023 marked my return to law, aligning with an exciting phase in the firm's technology roadmap.  There’s a real motivation to provide the right IT solutions that benefit our staff as well as our clients, and it’s a pleasure to help shape the IT landscape for such a future focussed organisation.

Away from work, music is still very special to me, although I listen a lot more than I play these days. Outside of work, my wife and I have an assortment of chickens, ducks, and we regularly look after dogs for friends and family. The BOP’s favourable weather allows me to indulge my interests in various outdoor cooking methods, which dovetails conveniently with my other interests in wine and tequila, although not at the same time.
