I have recently re-joined the team after spending just over a year at a local general practice law firm.
My legal career began almost 15 years ago, when I started as a legal secretary in a busy property focused firm in Hamilton, only months before the country began to see the effects of the GFC. While working, I completed my legal executive studies, and then went on to work as a legal executive at an Auckland law firm, whilst completing my law degree part time. Having worked through the various roles, really help to solidify my career choice in law and allowed me to get a good feel for the legal industry before committing to my degree.
Working in the PCT team will provide me with a unique role where my work type will be split between family law as well as general private client work. The mix of the two means that I will be in a position to seamlessly assist in family matters, particularly where there are properties, trusts and significant and varying assets involved.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading and exploring all that the Bay of Plenty has to offer, with my young boy.
