As People and Culture Business Partner you will be at the forefront of managing all aspects of Cooney Lees Morgan people and culture initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisational culture, ensuring to attract, develop, and retain top legal talent. There is opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Learning & Development to come in and make their mark in this space. This role requires you to have an Executive presence as it works closely with the Partners and senior management team, implementing and overseeing HR strategies that align with the firm's values and goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that are pragmatic, commercial, and linked to business performance and staff well-being.
- Work closely with the senior administration team to align HR strategies with firm objectives.
- Provide regular monthly reports to management and partners on all HR metrics.
- Serve as the HR subject matter expert, offering assistance and advice on both strategic and day-to-day people-related issues.
- Oversee the performance review, salary review, and promotions process for the firm, ensuring staff remuneration is fair and competitive within the market.
Background required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior HR role
- Experience within a legal or professional services environment.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
This is a true generalist role where you will be required to partner with the business providing strategic advice and assistance, whilst also being comfortable to step in and assist with day-to-day people related issues.
