Charlotte is a talented Solicitor specialising in civil litigation, construction and employment disputes. She advises clients on a broad range of matters, including contractual and property disputes. Charlotte’s background in insurance litigation has given her the experience to guide clients through unfamiliar territory with confidence.
Her approach is practical, grounded and client focused. She enjoys the problem-solving side of litigation, particularly disputes where people are at the heart of the issue, and Charlotte gives clients a realistic view of their case so expectations are clear from the outset. She is experienced in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, which often saves clients the stress and expense of going to court.
She’s also known for her meticulous research and discovery skills, a knack she honed at university while assisting a commercial barrister and working in an e-discovery team for a large national law firm.
A keen home-baker, Charlotte likes to keep her colleagues well-fed and herself sane by bringing baked treats into the office – partly to share, mostly to stop herself from eating them all. She is an avid tramper, having completed several of New Zealand’s Great Walks, and is a keen netballer. Charlotte is also a Trustee and former volunteer for a children’s hospital visiting service, bringing the same care and attention to the community as she does to her clients.
