The Role
We are currently seeking a proactive, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our busy Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys varied and challenging work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to authors and the partners in the team.
- Prepare evidence bundles and casebooks.
- Draft and format legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and liaise between relevant parties.
- File and manage court documents and legal records.
- Handle client communications with professionalism and discretion.
- Perform general office duties including billing, scanning, filing, and data entry
About You
You are organised, professional, have a great work ethic and are comfortable with existing and new technology. Key requirements include:
- Previous experience in a legal administrative role preferred but not compulsory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., iManage, Actionstep)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A team player with a proactive attitude.
